Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial/Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will play a pivotal part in driving the success of energyGuard’s product offerings and commercial strategy. You will work closely with the product, sales, and operations teams to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, helping to guide product development, optimize go-to-market strategies, and maximize revenue potential. Responsibilities:
Product Analysis & Development:
- Collaborate with the product management team to define and prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Analyze product performance and provide actionable insights to improve features, usability, and customer adoption.
- Help create and manage product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
Commercial Strategy & Business Insights:
- Support the sales team by identifying commercial opportunities, assessing customer needs, and analyzing market trends in the multifamily property space.
- Conduct pricing analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modeling to optimize product pricing strategies and overall revenue generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new product initiatives or feature enhancements.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Gather, clean, and analyze data to inform key business decisions related to product offerings, pricing, and market strategy.
- Create dashboards and reports for leadership to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product and commercial success.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for improving energy management solutions based on customer usage patterns, satisfaction surveys, and industry trends.
Customer Engagement & Support:
- Work closely with the customer success and support teams to monitor customer feedback and translate it into actionable product improvements.
- Assist in developing customer-facing materials, such as product documentation, FAQs, and case studies, to support product adoption and retention.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer pain points, and emerging technologies that may impact EnergyGuard’s offerings.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the market landscape.
Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a product or commercial analyst role, ideally in the energy, tech, or property management sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for driving data-driven decisions.
Preferable Requirements:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of the multifamily property sector and energy management solutions is a plus
